Film cameras for children: the Cine NIC and other cinematographic toys
Many discoveries in the field of the image found their way into homes and became toys. All these toys amused children and allowed them to discover the mystery of the projection and animation of images. Of the different kinds of toys, the Cine NIC stands out, invented in Barcelona in 1931 by brothers Josep M. and Tomàs Nicolau Griñó. The Cine NIC was the first moving picture projector designed for children.
