Library and newspaper archive

Specializing in the history of the cinema, principally the early cinema and, above all, pre-cinema, it includes over 8,000 titles, among which are works of reference, catalogues of other film or image museums, monographic studies of directors and actors and actresses, film theory, and so on. There is a film and education section, which has an outstanding collection of teaching dossiers for working with films.

Video library

Made up of films from the early days of the cinema, classics, cinema d'auteur, teaching material, documentaries on the cinema and material generated by the museum itself (reportages, various recordings, copies of films from the museum's collections, and so on) in VHS and DVD format. It currently has almost 7,000 titles, with the possibility of borrowing (consult the rules) or viewing in the room.
