Secondary school
The main focus of the activity is the filming of a movie sequence by all the students.
The filming of a sequence from a movie is the main focus of the activity. We will discover some technical and narrative aspects of cinematic language, such as camera movements, angles, shots, special effects, characters, actions, and setting, all of which are essential in any film production.
The group will be divided into the different tasks that participate in a film's production: the script, the storyboard, the actors, the lighting, sound and camera technicians, the sets, props, makeup, and direction. Once everything is ready, the sequence created by the whole group will be filmed.
The workshop is complemented by a visit to the museum, where we will discover the power of cinema as a spectacle from its origins and how the play with images has always fascinated us. We will enjoy a unique session: a journey full of sensitivity and art with shadow shows, magic lanterns, looking at the world through a hole, capturing reality with photography, watching animated films with optical toys, moving pictures, and projections of real and fantastic images on a screen.
