A guided tour of the museum to explore the enchanting world of images and audiovisual performances that paved the way for the invention of cinema.

We invite you to a guided tour of the permanent exhibition, where students will discover the magical and fascinating world of moving images and the visual spectacles that led to the invention of cinema. This unique session is a journey full of artistry and imagination, featuring shadow plays, magic lantern shows, peeking at the world through a small hole, capturing reality through photography, exploring early animation with optical toys, and experiencing moving photographs and the projection of real and fantastical images on a screen.

The visit combines expert explanations from our educators with hands-on experimentation, audiovisual observations, and interactive activities, making it an engaging and participatory experience.

Objectives

- Understand the key concepts in the evolution from still images to moving images.
- Identify audiovisual spectacles that predated cinema.
- Foster an appreciation for the museum’s cultural heritage.

Price

4.5 EUR per student (groups of more than 19 students) / 90 EUR per group (groups of 19 students or fewer).
