Visible Women in Cinema

Secondary school

We highlight women's creative contributions and their role in audiovisual language within the history of audiovisual performances and the early years of cinema.

A tour of the museum's permanent exhibition with a critical perspective that makes the role of women visible in the history of visual performances, from shadow theater to the development of cinema.

Throughout history, many women have contributed to the development of the seventh art with their works and cinematic practice. We will talk about lesser-known women who were directors, pioneers in the use of language, actresses, editors, and screenwriters.

The visit combines explanations and interactions from the educators with experimentation, audiovisual observation, and manipulation of interactive elements, making the visit a dynamic and participatory experience.
