7 de Cinema is an educational kit that contains three didactic units designed to foster reflection, analysis, and creation, with the possibility of organizing a film forum to conclude the learning process.

Through a playful approach, we explore in depth film formats, cinematic genres, and film professions.

Work Proposal

ROOM 1: Technique. What is the seventh art made of?

The technical aspect of cinema will allow us to understand the influence of materials and production processes in filmmaking, with a special focus on analog formats.

ROOM 2: Creativity. How are stories told?

Creativity in cinema involves learning about the narrative, stylistic, and formal characteristics that define the genres and subgenres of the seventh art.

ROOM 3: Action! Who makes the movies?

We will discover the essential work behind a film shoot, the professionals involved, and their specific roles.

*These three didactic units are independent and can be applied separately, allowing adaptation to the group's reality and availability.*

Contents of the Kit

· Materials for teachers: Director's book (teaching guide) and a memory drive with film excerpts.

· ROOM 1: work scripts and a film reel canister from the Conservation and Restoration Center.

· ROOM 2: work scripts, posters, and props.

· ROOM 3: work scripts, a clapperboard, and production team badges.

· Extras: Club 7 de Cinema: a box with reflection capsules.

Price

The educational kit is available for free loan. The borrowing school is responsible for transportation costs.

Notes

The teaching guide provides teachers with the necessary resources to work and experiment with children in the classroom. Loans are available for a maximum of 3 weeks, depending on availability.

Authorship

A co-production between the Educational Services of the Museum of Cinema and the Filmoteca de Catalunya, this educational proposal was developed with the aim of bringing cinema into schools. The kit was produced by Eduxarxa with a practical approach and a playful objective to encourage student engagement throughout the learning process.
