Let's Make Cinema! Cinematic Shots

Primary school (ages 10- 12)

We will discover audiovisual language to create our own film fragments!

Let's explore two basic concepts that allow us to tell stories with images: framing and shots.

We will learn how to read cinema by watching film fragments and thinking about why they were shot in a particular way and not another. This will help us realize that each director has their own vision of the world and a different way of expressing an idea.

Once we have discovered the importance of thinking about how to shoot in order to convey what we want, we will put on our filmmaker hats and go out to film our own cinematic moments.
