Toy cinema projector

A failed case of a new projector model was the Super NIC Electromatic (1969). The company, already at a low ebb, thought about marketing a new model with an electric motor that would spin the film, but it did not work. The success of Cine NIC lay in its simplicity of handling, the economy of materials and the simplicity and efficiency of the mechanism. The introduction of an electric motor upset these three features, the basis of its success. This model was the last one they manufactured. In 1974, the company closed down, unable to adapt its products to the new times.
