With the aim of reducing the price per minute of film and, therefore, making amateur cinema more available to all pockets, Kodak launched a new film format, 8 mm, on the market in July 1932, and immediately marketed the associated cameras and projectors. This Kodascope eight model 20T projector is for 8mm silent films, with sixty-metre reels. This model, which is a slightly later version of the first 8 mm projector manufactured by Kodak, was on the market between 1932 and 1941.
