In the form of a piece of furniture, it consists of three devices: a television receiver on top and a radio and a turntable at the bottom. The most prominent part is the electromechanical TV, which has a small screen on the right front of the device. This mechanism was patented and manufactured by the Scottish engineer John Logie Baird, the first to transmit moving television images in 1925. Later, during 1927, Baird successfully transmitted a signal between London and Glasgow. This success encouraged him to create the Baird Television Development Company Ltd, a company engaged in the dissemination of telecommunications signals and which broadcast the BBC signal between 1929 and 1937. Baird's TV is an electromechanical TV, which uses a Nipkow disc and a photoelectric cell.
