Another kinora model, simpler and more economical, is this one manufactured by Bond's Ltd. in London, one of the few British companies authorised to manufacture this type of device. The rotation of the roll is completely manual on the part of the viewer. In the years leading up to World War I, the kinora was the most popular way in Britain for watching movies at home.
