Photo camera for a photographer's studio. The dimensions and weight of this device made it suitable only for use in a photographic studio. Its large lens, by the prestigious Austrian brand Voigtländer & John, allows one to capture bright, high-quality images and fix them on a plate measuring up to 30 x 38 cm. It has a bellows to facilitate the movement of the rear body of the device in order to properly focus the image. Most of those cameras were placed on solid tripods, usually adjustable in height and inclination, and with wheels to facilitate the device's mobility. This type of camera had its apogee in photographers' studios between 1860 and 1900, although its survival extended until the 1930s.
