Hand-coloured engraving that depicts a continuous panoramic view of the bank of the river Thames and of several iconic or outstanding places, such as bridges, monuments, churches, etc. The image is some four metres long. A short version of this panorama was originally published by the English magazine Illustrated London News in 1843.
