A statuette made using the bisque porcelain technique. It depicts a street vendor handling the threads of a peep show box and a kneeling woman looking through the lens with a child by her side. Designed by the French sculptor Étienne-Maurice Falconet, from a work by the painter François Boucher. It was made at the Manufacture Royale de Porcelaine de Sèvres (France) where Falconet was the general manager.
