We offer you the première of a documentary film. Unique viewpoints of reality that have won awards at the best festivals, in their original versions.
This month we are screening: Numakage Public Pool by Shingo Ota (Japan, 2025) · 80 min · Original Version with Spanish Subtitles
For more than fifty years, Numakage, a public swimming pool in suburban Tokyo, has served as a gathering place for older adults, families, and the city's gay cruising community. As the pool faces demolition despite local opposition, the film follows the community's collective grief through Kübler-Ross's five stages of mourning, inviting us to reconsider a sense of loss usually reserved for human death.
Prior registration: required. Entrance: free. Organized by: Museu del Cinema and Paral·lel 40
