This month we are screening: Amazomania, by Nathan Grossman (Sweden, Denmark and France, 2026), 93 minutes. Original version with Catalan subtitles.

In 1996, a Brazilian officer and a Swedish journalist ventured deep into the Amazon to document the isolated Korubo tribe, caught in territorial conflicts. Initially hailed as a heroic breakthrough, the footage now calls for a critical reappraisal. The film uncovers the hidden costs of "discovery," confronts the colonial legacy, and reveals the long-term consequences for the Korubo people.
